Some of Goro Tajiri`s Insights on Teaching English

Gojo Tajiri gives seminars about 150 times a year. Here are some
of his thoughts on teaching English in Japan:

Tajiri believes that winning students` hearts and trust is a
very important prelude to actual English teaching.

"What they learn through English is most important.
Motivation is generated when students think they want to know
more, want to read more and want to speak more," he said. "To
make them think that way, the content we teach is very important."
